The Sterling Cemetery is laid out in 8 sections. The sections are named by geographic location. For instance, the NWM Section corresponds to the northwest middle section. Due to the cemetery growing over the years and management changing, the sections are laid out in a variety of ways consisting of row, blocks, and lots.
A document has been created that depicts the grave locations and the available lots that can be purchased. This document is not drawn to scale but will hopefully aid in the searching of grave locations or available lots. It also has a linear list of the lots with burial information.
Once the map opens, you can hit Ctrl+F to search the map for a name. If you see anything that needs to be corrected, please let us know by emailing us at sterlingokcemeteryassociation@gmail.com.
Driving Directions
The Sterling Cemetery does not have a formal address so it cannot be entered into a GPS system.
From the HWY 17 & HWY 65 intersection in Sterling, OK, drive south on HWY 65 roughly 3/4 miles. Then turn east on Cline Rd and drive roughly 1/2 mile.
